Automotive Career Cart

Description:  

The automotive cart demonstrates the duties of a mechanic and how to do some of their works. Students will learn to change the tires of a car and also check if the engine is functioning properly. There is also a game where they try to change the air filter of the car.

Project Challenge:

• Understand basic car care by working at a local auto repair garage
• Learn to make basic repairs and perform routine maintenance
  

Key Student Activities:

• Safely change the model vehicle’s tire by removing and replacing the rear tire
• Use an OBD-II scanner to diagnose a check engine light and learn to make necessary repairs
